Ingredients & Tools
Butter
Bread
Egg
Pepper
Jelly or Jam
Juice glass
Pan
Spatula
Spreading knife
Lightly butter pan on low heat
Use juice glass to cut a hole in the center of a slice of bread (slice must stay in tact)
Remove hole and toast it
Place slice in the pan
Crack egg in the hole and cook to your taste
Flip when stiff enough to hold together
Pepper to taste
Spread Jelly on the little circle toast and serve with the COWBOY SANDWICH

I did not know that those sandwiches were called cowboys! I have always called them egg windows. Sometimes I use a cookie cutter heart or flower to make the hole. I will call them cowboy sandwiches from now on!
