I broke my arm on August 7, 2011 and this is my journal about it. Since there is only so much you can say about a broken arm, it will include what I did this summer and go forward from there. Check back often. The fish are for WFU...Go Deacs! Beat STATE.

The Smurfs
Daddy said it was well done (that's code for, "they did it right but he didn't like it.") Mommy said it was good too. Over all I give it two thumbs up. There was some fighting, but overall it was OK for five year olds. My sister (3yrs old) went too.
Douglas stayed home.
That's all for now

Kindergarten
Kindergarten is German and literally means Children's Garden. My first day was this week. I went to open house and found out one of my best friends was in my class. I went and played at her house today. We had fun. I also met some new friends. One with glasses just like me. I won't put their names or pictures on here until I find out if it's OK with their parents. My teachers are very nice.
This is a picture of Ani and I on our first day.
We also visited Ms. R. (One of Mom's best friends)She got a new puppy and we got to meet her. She is sooo cute.
Check out the cool hat we made on the first day |

Having a broken arm has not been so hard so far. It takes a little more time to get dressed and a little more time to eat. Today we had a cowboy sandwich for breakfast. In my next post, I'll give you the secret recipe. My Dad says that Granny (my great grandmother) made the best cowboy sandwiches ever!!!!

Moser & Gallisdorfer
I finally got my cast. It's white so I can color it, but the day started off soooo much cooler. First of all, when we were leaving the farm, we spotted some turkeys in the field, so we went to talk to them.

If you listen closely in the first video you can hear them talking back, AND you can hear Caroline clucking in the background Then we went to McDonalds for breakfast. Someone tried to open the drive through early.
This is a picture of the hospital where I went when I first broke my arm. They were very, very nice.
On Tuesday I started out with a shower. Mrs. Summer gave us this cool contraption that fits over your cast and keeps it dry. Thank you Mrs. Summer.

Today also included a dentist visit to fill a cavity. This Was really no big deal. Mom and Dad were really worried, but Dr. Moser was awesome. I didn't even feel a thing. I go to:

We finally got to the Dr's office, but they had quite a few emergencies to get through first. When I went back they unwrapped my arm. I couldn't move it very well. Dad said the muscles had kind of gone to sleep and that when I got the cast off we would have to wake them back up.
They xrayed it to make sure it was OK, then they washed it and put some lotion on it and put a soft cloth sock on it before molding the cast. It was easy and it didn't hurt
